Maybe you’re looking at a map you need to give to a friend, maybe you’re looking at a graphic design example you need to send to a coworker – wouldn’t it be nice if you could just screenshot it?

Whether you’re using Windows or working on a Mac, it’s easier than you may think. You don’t even need another app to do so…

Windows

• Once you have what you want to save on-screen, hit the Windows key, start typing “snipping tool” and select it when it comes up.
• Hit “New Snip”, right-click and hold, and select what you want to screenshot.

Mac

• Simply press CMD+SHFT+4 to select and screenshot what you have on screen.

As always, the more you know about the technology you’re using, the better it will work for you. Take a minute here and there to learn about your computer’s capabilities and you will be rewarded for it.
