Colorado tends to adopt high expectations for students – and part of those expectations involves PARCC and CMAS assessments. The Transitional Colorado Assessment Program (TCAP) has been phased out and replaced with a new assessment, known as Partnership for Assessments of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC). In the spring of 2015, all students must participate in PARCC assessments, as well as CMAS – a new assessment administered online to measure academic success.
